Claim The Club

Refunds and cancellations

When a payment can be refunded, what a takeover and the end of a term mean for refunds, and how to complain.

Version 2026-11-01.

1. Our refund position

Your advertising placement begins when payment settles. Payments are normally non-refundable once the service has started. We will correct or refund duplicate or incorrect charges, and provide the remedies required if the service is not supplied as described or applicable law requires otherwise.

Refund questions: info@claimtheclub.com, or see Contact.

2. Takeovers, the end of a term and Club Credits

An agreed takeover is part of the service you bought. Your licence provides for it, your protection and the credit value you receive are explained in Plots, takeovers and Club Credits, and a takeover does not create a right to a cash refund.

Natural expiry after the six-month term does not create a refund or Club Credits: the whole term was supplied. Unused or expired Club Credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cancelling before payment settles costs nothing: an unpaid reservation simply lapses and the plot is released. Closing your account does not end a live term early or create a refund.

3. Refunds and payment disputes

Where a refund is due we make it to the card that paid, through Stripe. Stripe refunds and payment disputes (chargebacks) are handled through our payment exception process: a refunded or disputed payment stops counting towards takeover protection and credit value, the plot may be placed on hold while we look into it, and the record of what happened is kept against the order.

If you think you have been charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you did not receive, contact us with the plot code and the date and we will put it right.

4. Complaints and your rights

Complaints can be sent to info@claimtheclub.com. We will acknowledge a complaint promptly and normally answer it within 14 days. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded, and nothing here is a waiver of your statutory rights.
